Dr. James Butler,who has practiced orthopaedic surgery in Slidell and the greater New Orleans area for over twenty years, has opened a new office devoted to treating a variety of neck and back problems.

Led by Dr. Butler, the staff at Southern Spine Care has the expertise and patience to help people navigate their choices when it comes to treatment of spinal problems. One unique feature of Southern Spine Care is the Image-guided Surgery System. Dr. Butler was instrumental in developing the first integrated image-guided surgery suite in the country. Utilizing and refining this system for over 10 years,Dr. Butler is more experienced in performing fluoroscopic navigation spinal surgery than any other physician in the area.
